(e)merge Art Fair
I was so pleased to be able to make it to the Capitol Skyline Hotel yesterday to visit this year's (e)merge Art Fair. It didn't disappoint and is by far my favorite art event in DC. 80 international exhibitors occupy the hotel exhibiting 152 emergent artists from 24 countries. The hotel rooms and even the underground parking garage are converted into temporary galleries and it's opened up to guests to wander and enjoy. Such a treat! The Rubell's (of the famous Rubell Family Collection) bought the hotel a few years back and good things have been happening ever since. Keep it coming! Puts me in the mood for Art Basel Miami...
