When Niki Christoff invoked the Beverly Hills Hotel as inspiration for the rooftop of her Logan Circle condo, designer Breeze Giannasio got excited: her architectural mentor had been a part of the legendary project. Giannasio, who works often in LA, ran with Christoff's aesthetic -- which she describes as "old Hollywood meets Palm Beach" -- layering the gray deck with black and white cabana striped pillows, matte-black furniture and a playful umbrella rimmed with tassels. "The house itself is a medley of grays that is very soft and feminine," says Giannasio, "so this was a chance to be a little more extroverted and fun."
When Christoff bought the two-level condo in 2017, she was drawn to its central location near 14th Street, but the 210 square foot rooftop was another selling point. "My career involves long hours, so it's convenient to have a turnkey outdoor space for entertaining," says the senior VP of government relations for Salesforce. "I use it for intimate dinners and cocktails."
