With their kids grown up and moving out, the owners of this Thousand Oaks home were ready for a refresh. In addition to a thoughtful redesign of the kitchen, Breeze removed wallpaper, painted, and modernized throughout. The furnishing process included displaying the husband’s original paintings, mixing old and new (pieces from Home Goods, for example, sit below Kelly Wearstler chandeliers), and rescuing and restoring items which had been languishing in storage, including treasures the clients had picked up in Paris flea markets over the years. The result? A modern oasis with vintage touches and a global vibe.
